Look, if I’m being honest, I couldn’t care less about there not being porn anymore. I don’t consume it. A lack of it would change literally nothing in my life.
But I’m still upset about this decision, because there are people who will have their lives changed like this. There are adult artists on here who relied on tumblr’s allowance of adult content to share their work, and sometimes even their livelihoods are at stake.
And I’m also upset because this is just laziness. Instead of actually cracking down on the real problems, tumblr goes “hey let’s just ban all adult content instead of working yeah that’ll work”
So if you’re like me, and you have absolutely no interest in adult content, you should still be angry.
